Overall we had a great vacation, we'll go back again. The villas look brand new, furnishing is essential but complete and modern. The size of the pool is just right. The only sound you hear is the nature around, it's very relaxing. You get a local cell phone when you arrive, which is very handy to keep in touch with the hotel staff while you're out. The hotel staff is essential but always available and always very kind. Th breakfast is cooked in your villa at the agreed time, you can choose between different types of breakfast (we tried a few and they were all good). The place is a bit isolated; the beach is about 20 minutes walking, the nearby town even more. If you think of touring, you can rent a car as we did for less than 40 USD/day and drive around, you'll find everything you need within a few minutes drive. If you just want to stay home and relax, you can use the shuttle provided by the hotel or move by taxi.
There are only 2 chairs in the garden, we would have enjoyed a small table and at least 4 chairs. There is no washing machine in the villa, but there are dozens of houses offering laundry service at a cheaper price than the hotel. There is no TV upstairs and no DVD player. They provide a shuttle to go to the supermarket in town and other nearby places, but there is shuttle from / to the airport, you have to get a taxi (approx. 800 Baht). Not easy to get food around the hotel unless you have a car or get on the shuttle.
